ELECTRONIC SYSTEM FOR TRAVEL (ESTA) and USA VISA WAIVER PROGRAM (VWP)

Since January 12, 2009 all VWP travellers have been required to obtain an electronic travel authorisation prior to boarding a carrier to travel by air or sea to the USA under the VWP. Electronic System for Travel (ESTA) applications may be submitted at anytime prior to travel, though it is recommended travellers apply when they begin preparing travel plans. Airlines may not be able to check in eligible passengers without the issue of a waiver. To apply online for your waiver, you can utilise the following link www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/travel/id_visa/esta/
